Ben’s practice focusses on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has particular expertise in the renewables sector, acting for domestic and international clients on the sale and purchase of operating businesses and renewable energy assets across multiple technologies. His practice is geographically diverse, combining a strong track record in the UK with international experience in a range of other jurisdictions, recently as diverse as Central and Eastern Europe, South America and South Africa.
Ben has also developed significant expertise in climate finance and carbon markets, where his experience includes advising on the structuring of international carbon transactions, primary and secondary ERPAs, project implementation agreements and financing structures.
