Jocelyn Cubbon DeMars has spent over a decade representing domestic and global insurers in a wide-range of coverage disputes, including pre-suit and litigated matters. Jocelyn provides her clients with advice involving various types of commercial insurance, with a specific focus on matters involving both first-party commercial property and third-party liability claims. She also has niche experience handling complex claims involving large and layered insurance markets (including London market work), as well as complicated claims involving bespoke and manuscripted policies. In the spring of 2024, Jocelyn spent two weeks in London participating the PICG Claims Academy.

Jocelyn has experience representing insurers in coverage actions involving breach of contract and/or declaratory judgment actions, as well as defending her insurer clients against bad faith and other extra-contractual liability claims.

In recent years, Jocelyn has successfully defended her clients in connection with COVID-19 coverage lawsuits filed in numerous jurisdictions. She also has experience serving as coverage counsel in connection with hurricane claims and claims involving other emerging risks.

Jocelyn also serves as a board member for the FATE Foundation and as a member of APIW (Association of Professional Insurance Women). She has been actively involved in Clyde Atlanta’s Summer Associate Program for the last several years.
