Pierre Affagard is a TMT lawyer in the Paris Office of Clyde & Co, advising on issues related to new technologies, data protection, and cyber security.
Pierre is a TMT lawyer, with expertise in new technologies, data protection and cyber security. In particular, he has developed his practice within the aviation and insurance sectors.
Pierre manages the breach response department in Paris. As a firm, Clyde & Co has one of the largest dedicated global data breach teams, known as One, who have combined experience in handling 4,000 cyber events. This network is available 24/7 via global telephone hotlines and email, operating from all Clyde & Co offices across the globe.
Additionally, Pierre acts as an external Data Protection Officer (DPO). He is also a lecturer on data protection at the Paris-Saclay University.
Pierre was admitted to the Paris bar in 2016. He joined Clyde & Co in 2019. Previously, Pierre gained his experience at a well-known tech law firm.
Pierre holds a Master 2 in Intellectual Property Law as well as a master 2 in Health Law, both from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
