Liz has practised law in the shipping and marine insurance sector since 2009. Liz was promoted to Legal Director in 2024, Senior Associate in 2019, having Clyde & Co in 2016 as an Associate.
Her practice has predominantly focussed on shipping and transportation claims, including international carriage of goods, logistics, warehousing, ports and terminals, P&I and charterparty claims, oil sale contract disputes and yachting claims.
Liz acts for a number of insurers both domestic and worldwide. Liz handles claimant and defence of liability matters before the English Admiralty and Commercial Courts, arbitration and also in a number of other jurisdictions across the globe. The claims arise from damage/loss of cargo in transit, irrespective of whether the carriage was by sea, air, rail or road.
Liz assists in high value and multi-track shipping and international logistics matters.
