She specialises in advising clients on large scale project contracts in the offshore wind energy sector and represents them in relating litigation and arbitration cases.

Anna-Sophie specialises in advising clients on project contracts in the offshore wind energy sector. She also advises on EU and German procurement law, particularly in tender proceedings for energy infrastructure projects.

Anna-Sophie has gathered extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of large scale project contracts for works, including BIMCO and FIDIC standard contracts. She regularly accompanies and advises clients both during the tender and subsequent execution phase for a project as well as in litigation and arbitration cases in that area. She acts for major energy industry contractors, investors, operators, service providers and suppliers.

Anna-Sophie has, together with Eckehard Volz, contributed the chapter "Applying knock-for-knock in Germany“ to the book “Knock-for-Knock Indemnities and the Law - Contractual Limitation and Delictual Liability”, published in March 2023 by Taylor & Francis.

Experience
  • Advising a major steel contractor on successfully achieving tender awards for multiple offshore converter platforms

  • Advising a German offshore services provider during the negotiation and conclusion of a consortium agreement with their JV partner for the joint provision of maintenance works on several offshore converter platforms in the German North Sea.

  • Representing a consortium of two steel contractors in multi-party DIS proceedings regarding large-scale defects claims under an EPCI contract for an offshore wind farm.

  • Advising a client on a T&I contract for the installation of monopile foundations for a wind farm project in Taiwan, in particular with regard to ongoing project management and legal assistance, defending delay claims and asserting claims for EOT and additional costs.

  • Assisting a major steel contractor during the execution phase for several offshore turnkey platforms, in particular with regard to claims handling.
