Olivia Tate is a dispute resolution lawyer with a wide range of experience across insurance related matters and general commercial litigation, acting for both claimants and defendants. She works across a number of lines of insurance business, including professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, and property damage, and has particular experience in the construction, mining, resources and energy sectors. She is passionate about achieving an efficient and pragmatic resolution for clients. In addition to her litigation work, Olivia has also assisted with providing complex coverage advice and acting as monitoring counsel.
Olivia has experience across a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious work, including contractual claims, claims in negligence, and claims under the Australian Consumer Law. In addition, she has particular experience in property disputes and insolvency. She has been involved in cases litigated in many Australian jurisdictions, including the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts of Western Australia, Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the State Administrative Tribunal (WA).
