Full Profile
Nicolas began his litigation and conflict resolution practice in commercial matters, construction and product liability within a large Canadian firm.
In addition to his law studies at Université du Québec à Montréal, he holds a first Bachelor of Science from Université de Montréal in Political Science and General Law, which led him to actively gravitate into federal politics. After completing an internship with a leading Member of the Canadian Parliament, Nicolas continued his party’s involvement as a member of the executive of its Quebec Section and by winning its nomination a few years later to run as a candidate in the 42nd Canadian federal election. This experience allowed him to develop excellent organizational, interpersonal and media communication skills.
As a former Canadian college football offensive lineman, Nicolas knows how to position himself as a team player and natural leader.
His involvement in his community includes several important positions on the boards of various non-profit organizations (NPO) namely in the events sector, the animal protection and welfare sector, as well as the foundation of a collegial institution. During his tenure on the board of one of those non-profits, Nicolas spearheaded its restructuring and the acquisition of a competing organization, thereby ensuring the future of the NPO he represented.
