Candace joined Clyde & Co as a trainee solicitor in 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2023, working with the Financial Institutions team.
As a part of the Financial Institutions team, Candace advises regularly on financial lines insurance coverage disputes (covering both D&O and professional indemnity policies) and assists in defending professional negligence/liability claims.
She also has substantial experience in cyber fraud response and recovery and has experience assisting other non-monetary cyber breach responses.
In her broader practice, she assists and advises regularly in diverse commercial disputes and has multitude of experience advising on employment claims and employment contracts, other contractual claims and debt recovery, as well as some regulatory investigation experience.
Candace obtained First Class Honors in her LLB degree with the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020, graduating at top 5% of the cohort. She earned her PCLL with the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021.
Candace is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
