Tara is an experienced international trade lawyer, bringing many years of working with producers, traders and end-users of both hard and soft commodities to her practice which covers all aspects of the supply chain, from contract drafting and negotiation, through to dispute resolution.
Described as going "beyond advising on the law – an active problem solver" and repeatedly recognised in the Legal 500 since 2013, her time working in-house on various secondments over the years informs her approach to the advice she provides, as she understand the pressures faced both by the commercial arms and the legal functions of her clients.
Tara has significant experience of the main arbitral forums, including the LCIA, ICC, SIAC and DIAC, as well as the specialist trade institutes such as LMAA, GAFTA, FOSFA, TNA, Waren Verein and the BCA, as well as before the English courts.
