Paul works in London's Casualty and Healthcare department. He undertakes technical liability and high value quantum work, arising from employers' liability, public liability, road traffic and fatal accident claims.

He has particular expertise in dealing with construction injury claims and has acted for some of the largest UK based building and construction companies and their subsidiaries in defending claims against them. He acts for a number of large well-known insurers.

Experience

• Acting for a global insurer in a paraplegic claim valued between £4 million - £5 million as a consequence of the injured person (employee) being injured by a large piece of machinery in the workplace
• Acting for a London based insurer in a paraplegic claim valued in excess of £3 million as a consequence of the injured person falling through a roof on a construction site
• Representing a large global construction company in a fatal accident claim worth in excess of £1 million
• Representing a well know high street trader in a fatal accident claim worth in excess of £1m when a shop sign fell and killed a passer-by
• Acting for insurers in a variety of chronic pain cases
• Representing an insurer in a construction injury claim when a site worker fell off some scaffolding sustaining catastrophic spinal injuries
