Dan has considerable experience advising insurers on contentious coverage issues arising from property damage, product liability and business interruption claims. His recent experience includes the High Court and Supreme Court proceedings in the FCA Test Case and advising on complex coverage issues arising out of product liability claims in the USA.
Dan also specialises in large loss liability defence and subrogated recovery claims in the UK and abroad. His practice routinely involves defending contractors, suppliers and manufacturers in relation to catastrophic losses and environmental liability litigation.
He also assists insurers in the drafting and development of new policy wordings and insurance products.
