Barnaby is an Associate in the Projects and Construction Group in Clyde & Co’s Bristol Office, with a primary focus on the resolution of construction disputes.

He has experience in working for a range of clients, including employers, developers, contractors and subcontractors.

Barnaby has a breadth of knowledge across an extensive range of dispute resolution methods, including litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal, Pre-Action Protocol process, adjudication, mediation and expert determination.

Experience

• Acting on behalf of an international EPC Contractor in a multiparty litigation relating to the termination of an EPC Contract on a GBP 150 million gasification process plant.
• Conducting a series of adjudications on behalf of an international EPC Contractor in respect of a dispute with a roofing and cladding subcontractor.
• Successfully defending a main contractor in Part 8 adjudication enforcement proceedings in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
• Successfully defending an adjudication on behalf of an international contractor on a residential development in the UK.
