Susan advises on employment and immigration matters, such as contractual documentation, disciplinary processes and grievances, HR policies and guidance on redundancies, and end of service benefits. In addition, she supports clients with managing employee transfers within the context of multijurisdictional corporate transactions, business carve-outs and spinoffs.
Susan advises clients operating in a wide range of sectors, particularly the healthcare, hospitality, retail and consumer sectors.
Susan is a qualified lawyer in Egypt. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Cairo University, Egypt in 2014.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Susan worked at PwC Middle East in Saudi Arabia and leading law firms in Egypt.
Susan is fluent in Arabic and English.

- Advising on the employment workstream of the USD 525 million sale of DXC Technology’s healthcare provider software business to Dedalus Group.*
- Advising multinational clients with all aspects of employment matters on entering new markets in the Middle East.*
- Advising AD Ports Group on the employment workstream of its USD 140 million acquisition of a 70 per cent equity stake in International Associated Cargo Carrier.*
- Advising a major petrochemical company with multiple employee investigations and the subsequent disciplinary process.*
