Sanmari Roos is a Senior Associate in the Speciality Insurance and Reinsurance department of our Johannesburg Office.
She obtained her BA Law LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney of the South African High Courts, with right of appearance in 2017.
She joined Clyde & Co Inc. in December 2019 where she assists local and international Insurers in providing advice on claims made against Directors and Officers, Criminal and Cyber, Product liability and Professional Indemnity policies of insurance. She also assists Insurers in civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.

- Providing coverage advice to Insurers and Reinsurance;
- Defending claims instituted against Insureds in numerous fields of law;
- Instituting subrogated recovery against Third Parties;
- Defending the class action proceedings instituted against Tiger Brands Ltd;
- Keeping a watching brief in matters that involve claims instituted against Directors of JSE listed and foreign companies for alleged breach of fiduciary duties.
