Ryszard Rutkowski is an Associate and member of the Banking & Finance team in the Warsaw office with experience in legal advisory for banking and finance transactions, including the financing of real estate projects (in particular in regard to due diligence processes) and renewable energy sources (RES) projects.

Ryszard is actively involved in various banking and finance activities, which encompass project finance, with a specific emphasis on renewable energy sources (RES). He also engages in transactions related to real estate financing and corporate financing, representing both financial institutions and borrowers.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co he worked at a leading Polish law firm at banking & finance team, where he gained experience, in particular in legal due diligence and transactional projects.
Ryszard has graduated the Law Faculty at Jagiellonian University in Cracow and he’s an Italian native speaker and has completed his education in Italy. In 2021/2022, he was the recipient of a scholarship from the Rector of the Jagiellonian University on the basis of high academic performance.

- Performing banking & finance legal due diligence on the financing of numerous companies.
- Advising a Polish state owned entity on the financing of purchase of wind farms located in Poland.
- Advising a consortium of Polish banks and financial institutions on general corporate financing of a leading Polish contractor of infrastructure for RES.
- Advising Polish banks and borrowers in financing a number of warehouses and housing developments.
