Jessica is an associate in Clyde & Co’s Aviation Finance team and is based in the Dubai office. She advises clients, including leading airlines and business jet clients, on a broad range of aviation matters, including in connection with aircraft leases, sale and purchase agreements, novations and aircraft financing projects in the commercial and business aviation sectors.
Jessica is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) in 2018 and a Bachelor of Commerce (cum laude) in 2016 from Nelson Mandela University, South Africa.
Experience
- Advising owners and operators in various business jet transactions involving sale and purchase agreements and aircraft financing
- Acting for a leading international airline on aircraft refinancings and novations
- Advising lenders on cross-border transactions for purposes of providing security over assets based in foreign jurisdictions, as well as ensuring requisite credit support is provided by foreign transaction parties.
- Advising lenders in relation to the provision of a EUR 82.8 million term loan facility agreement for the acquisition of a portfolio of assets located in a foreign jurisdiction.
