Preyanka is an Associate in the Calgary office. She maintains a broad practice in commercial, civil and insurance disputes. Preyanka joined Clyde & Co from a prominent Western Canada firm known for its management-side labour and employment practice, from which she brings her experience in all aspects of the employment relationship, including labour relations, human rights, employment standards, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, conducting workplace investigations, as well as developing and implementing workplace policies for employers.
Preyanka obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. While attending the College of Law, she was the 2021 recipient of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association prize and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Prior to attending law school, Preyanka completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary, where she was a Dean's List student.
Outside of work, Preyanka is an active board member for the Downstage performing arts theatre. Preyanka's passions include being an avid runner, adding to the list of countries she has travelled to (currently at 25) and writing poetry, publishing her first poetry book in 2024.
