His main professional focus revolves around regulatory, litigation and corporate matters, supporting both domestic and international clients, with projects in both fields of conventional and unconventional energy sources.
Maciej is engaged in many disputes and affairs before Polish and European regulatory authorities, providing material and procedural legal advisory for the clients regarding inter alia: connection disputes with DSO’s and TSO’s, unbundling procedures, penalty proceedings against energy companies, approval of tariffs, refusal of conclusion of distribution and energy sale agreements with an energy company and issues arising from energy price caps regulations.
Apart from having a regulatory background, Maciej is involved in corporate legal services for energy and infrastructure matters such as contract drafting, legal documentation review and due diligence (including vendor due diligence) processes for renewable energy sources portfolios, with a main focus on permitting and both PPA’s and VPPA’s.
