Christopher is an Associate Solicitor in the Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes team in Clyde & Co's Bristol office.
Christopher joined Clyde & Co’s Bristol office in September 2022 after first qualifying as a solicitor in October 2020. Christopher has extensive litigation experience acting for both claimants and defendants in commercial disputes involving breach of contract, personal injury claims, contentious trusts and probate, commercial debt recovery, land disputes and commercial landlord and tenant claims.
Christopher now acts for legal, financial, construction and other professionals handling professional negligence cases.
Experience
- Defending claims issued against barristers and law firms in relation to a number of issues, such as failure to advise in respect of limitation and failure to provide appropriate advice.
- Defending a firm of financial advisors in respect of potential claims from over one hundred clients in respect of pension investment advice.
- Acting for construction professionals in relation to failures to ensure work was carried out in a professional manner, faulty installation and inadequate design specification
- Defending a claim against a law firm in respect of a “lost litigation” case brought by a former client where the value of the underlying claim was worth in excess of £2m.
