Ben is the Head of Digital for our Casualty Practice, based in our Manchester office. His role is to work with partners and clients to deliver digital innovations for our clients and technology platforms to improve our ways of working.

Ben is leading the digital transformation for the firm’s Casualty Practice in Manchester.  Ben is responsible for our Casualty Innovation, Automation and Digital Transformation workstreams, focused on transforming the way in which we work for and with our clients. Ben is designing our next generation of products to help address the challenges our clients face in personal injury claims handling whilst also automating our internal claims handling processes.

Ben is experienced in digital transformation. His previous roles include:

  • Global Enterprise Manager, Freshfields
  • Principle Technology Manager, BBC
  • Head of Strategic Transformation, Barclays Bank
  • Ben works with our clients to build mutually beneficial solutions focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and delivering better claims outcomes.
Experience
  • Responsible for setting up the global Enterprise systems team at Freshfields
  • Removal of legacy systems and infrastructure to deliver a cloud first strategy
  • Providing innovative technology solutions to meet client requirements
  • Implementation of business and technical strategies to deliver an agile delivery model
  • Leading the engineering teams to deliver TV and Radio live broadcasts for the Rio Olympics, FiFA World Cup, Commonwealth games and major news events
  • Delivering the digital transformation of Barclays online customer offering and in branch services
