Full Profile
Benjamin (Ben) Owens-Filice focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation and insurance coverage. As a civil defense attorney, Ben has defended hundreds of clients against personal injury lawsuits, breach of contract cases, and construction defect claims. He achieved fantastic results for these clients, both at the trial and appellate level.
After graduating law school, Benjamin was commissioned as an officer in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As a JAG, he focused on litigation, serving as a special victims’ prosecutor, a legal advisor for the US Army Special Forces Command, an appellate attorney, and a general crimes prosecutor. Ben retired from the Army in 2023 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He received multiple awards for his service, including the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal.
In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his two daughters and lovely wife. While he maintains strong connections with friends and family in California, he is proud to now call Colorado home.
