A Legal Director in our Liverpool office, Victoria Mallard primarily works in the occupational disease team. She specialises in cases involving deafness, asbestos, hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) and musculoskeletal cases.
Over the course of her career, Victoria has gained extensive technical knowledge, as well as plenty of experience handling complex, multi-defendant actions. She is client-focused and able to provide thoughtful analysis and strategic advice with commercial awareness of any potential issues surrounding the matter.
Outside of occupational disease, Victoria has extensive experience in all types of employers’ liability cases. She has received training from various insurers on employers’ liability topics, as well as in occupational disease.
In addition to managing her own cases, Victoria supervises and mentors a team of lawyers handling a variety of disease claims. She has also provided training and delivered presentations on a number of disease topics, as well as advising and assisting clients with regard to the handling and defensibility of claims.
