Saskia is a Senior Associate and joined Clyde & Co in 2021. She advises international and domestic insurers in the area insurance, regulatory and dispute resolution focusing on claims handling as well as product development of wordings. Her practice includes acting as monitoring, coverage and defence counsel in complex insurance cases with a focus in the fields of D&O, E&O, regulatory and accident & health. Saskia represents her clients in domestic and international litigation.
Before joining Clyde & Co, Saskia worked as a research assistant at the University of Münster and was part of the insurance law team at an international law firm based in Düsseldorf, where she worked since her admission in 2020, mainly in the areas of regulatory law and reinsurance law. She is recognised as “One to Watch” for litigation by Best Lawyers (2023, 2024).

Advising insurers as member of Clyde & Co's German Covid-19 task force on a broad range of insurance and reinsurance issues, including property and business interruption and health insurance.
