Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Sara worked at a magic circle law firm in Dubai.

Sara is fluent in English, Arabic and French.

Experience
  • Advising Investment Trading Group (ITG), the Investment Office of Al Tayer Group, on the sale of its 60 per cent shareholding in a market leading logistics company in Dubai who offer transportation solutions by air, ocean, and road.
  • Advising the shareholders of Specialized Technical Services Company (STS) on its complete sale to ZainTECH. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
  • Advising Rethink Education, a New York-based impact venture capital firm focused on education, on its investment in Aanaab, a Saudi Arabia-based education technology (edtech) company, on a mission to empower teachers.
  • Advising Simpson Spence Young (SSY), the world’s largest independent shipbroker, on its acquisition of F3 Offshore Group, the offshore specialist shipbroker with offices in Hamburg and Dubai.
  • Advising Ahli United Bank B.S.C. in relation to its acquisition by Kuwait Finance House K.S.C.P. (KFH) – the first cross-border public takeover involving a share issuance in the GCC (combined assets in excess of USD 100 billion).
  • Advising a large American retailer with the re-organisation of its business in several jurisdictions across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
