Omar has advised on a number of corporate transactions, working with clients operating in the healthcare, insurance, financial leasing, investment funds and finance sectors.

Omar is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association. He graduated with a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from the University of Ain Shams in 2023 and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Cairo University in 2019.

Omar is fluent in Arabic and English.

  • Advising Capital for Securitization on the EGP 1,415,500,000 securitization bonds issuance for the mortgage portfolio of Bedaya Mortgage Finance Co, the second of its kind within a programme of an aggregate value of EGP 3 billion.
  • Advising Capital for Securitization and Bedaya Mortgage Finance Co. (Bedaya) on the EGP 843 million securitization issuance for Bedaya, the first tranche of what is expected to be a total of a four-tranche programme with a value of EGP 3 billion. 
  • Advising a development company on sale of financial leased units.
  • Advising a leading company in the food industry on its acquisition of 50% stakes in two entities operating within the non-banking financial sector.
  • Advising a holding company on its de-merge.
  • Advising Gig-Egypt on the transaction to acquire 100 per cent of AIG Egypt through a mandatory tender offer.
  • Advising investment funds with respect to restructuring, the appointment of management, Capital increase, preparing a comprehensive information memorandum, and the formulation of agreements aimed at the recovery of their revenue.
