Emily Miller serves as coverage counsel, advising domestic and international insurers in complex insurance disputes. In this capacity, Emily represents insurers in nationwide litigation and provides counsel on a variety of first- and third-party liability issues.
Previously, Emily was a Senior Counsel at a Chicago-based litigation firm where her practice primarily focused on insurance coverage and cyber security and data privacy matters. In this role, she regularly provided counsel to clients on issues relating to the recovery of losses caused by data breaches, system failures, and other cybercrime-related events. In this capacity, she represented insurers in complex civil litigation actions in pursuit of post-data breach recovery. Furthermore, Emily provided advice to clients on insurance claims arising from data breaches and cyberattacks with a strong understanding of proper security measurers and remediation efforts.
