Cindy Medina-Cervantes focuses her practice on toxic tort with extensive experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, conducting and defending depositions, and preparing expert witnesses for trial.
Previously, Cindy worked as an Associate at a national Chicago-based firm and a litigation defense firm, where she represented physicians, nurses, professional corporations and hospitals. In addition, Cindy served as a clerk for the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Illinois.
While attending DePaul University College of Law, Cindy was President of the Latino/a Law Student Association, member of the DePaul Appellate Moot Court Society, and a writer for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law. She currently serves as a member of the DePaul Moot Court Alumni Board, where she coaches and advises law students preparing for national moot court competitions. She is also the President-Elect for HLAI - Serving the Hispanic Lawyers of Illinois and will be sworn in as President in October of this year.
