Barbara Mawalla

Barbara works in the Banking & Debt Finance and Regulatory departments in our Dar es Salaam office. She also assists with real estate, employment, mining, and oil & gas matters. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Barbara pursued her undergraduate degree at Tumaini University in Dar es Salaam. Thereafter, Barbara joined the Law School of Tanzania for her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. 

Barbara is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society.

• Advising and assisting in reviewing Production Sharing Agreements and other related agreements for major oil companies.
• Advising on company secretarial services in Tanzania.

• Advising and assisting various foreign companies with organising their statutory fillings at the Business Registration and Licensing Agency.
