Alix has been with Clyde & Co since 2011 and has worked with many of her clients for over a decade providing them with efficient and pragmatic advice.  She has a broad range of experience and regularly acts for developers, homebuilders, landowners, landlords, tenants, investors and public-sector bodies.

Experience

• Acquisition, funding, letting and sale of commercial residential and mixed-use developments including for funds and local authority joint ventures.
• Sales of development parcels within large sites subject to outline planning permission (including, a £25m site for Grainger as development partner of the Ministry of Defence).
• Estate management work including lease renewals, licences, agreements with landlord and tenant works conditions, assignments and sublettings across a range of sites including office, retail and industrial properties.
• Portfolio purchases, financing and disposals, co-ordinating reports and certificates on title across several properties to urgent deadlines.
• Acting for a private wealth investor on a complex and high value letting of City of London premises to a premium serviced office supplier (£1.7m+).
• Set up and supervision of off-plan plot sales for luxury residential properties, including for Canary Wharf Group and Qatari Diar.
• Property due diligence for corporate acquisitions
• Acting for national retailers on significant lettings of major stores.
• Title structuring for complex sites to accommodate funding and disposal requirements.
• Negotiating option, pre-emption and overage agreements.
