With over 20 years of experience, Alexis Moulton is a talented negotiator and litigator. She practises in the areas of insurance, commercial litigation, construction, energy, medical malpractice and professional liability and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. She has also appeared before various boards and administrative tribunals and has served as counsel for interested parties in public fatality inquiries. In addition, she is a proud member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Canadian Insurance Claims Managers Association.
Moreover, Alexis’ experience includes representing former executives, company employees and boards of directors, in actions alleging fraud, negligence, breach of contract, management allegations, fidelity claims and misappropriation of funds, as well as assisting with corollary proceedings with respect to professional disciplinary committees. She also represents her clients in various disputes and litigation issues and regularly provides coverage opinions on a variety of policies, including those in the D&O, construction and energy sectors.
Alexis has participated in hundreds of mediations, judicial dispute resolutions and arbitrations and has acted as counsel for King’s Bench trials and numerous court applications.
