As Legal Director of the Property and Liability Insurance team, Natasha has broad experience of advising on coverage and liability issues both in the context of defending claims, and pursuing subrogated recoveries.

Natasha regularly advises insurers on environmental liability coverage and liability issues, and defends businesses in relation to various environmental incidents including groundwater contamination with substances such as hydrocarbons and chemical fertilisers, oil pipeline leaks, and escapes of natural gas.

Natasha also has strong experience of product liability matters. She has worked on a range of product liability disputes concerning food, cosmetic products, industrial machinery and pet products. Recently, Natasha defended a company in a multi-party litigation concerning the supply of allegedly contaminated food products.

• Defending a food supplier in a multi-party litigation arising from the claimant's consumption of allegedly contaminated seafood
• Advising excess insurers in relation to a number of multi-million pound claims arising from oil pipeline failures in Canada
• Acting for insurers in relation to a large-scale contamination of groundwater with chemical fertilisers
• Acting for insurers in a coverage dispute relating to the escape of natural gas
• Advising excess insurers in relation to the coverage of multiple class actions in the US relating to the contamination of water sources with perfluorinated compounds
• Defending a fire safety company in a claim regarding the allegedly faulty installation of sprinkler pipework, worth over £5m
• Acting for insurers in relation to a hydrocarbon contamination on two plots of agricultural land
• Defending construction companies in relation to allegations of negligent building works
