Jonathan is a Legal Director who specialises in resolving malpractice claims in the professional services sector and professional disciplinary proceedings.

He has extensive experience of complex and high-value litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal as well as alternative dispute resolution including mediation.

In addition to civil claims, he acts in the defence of law firms and individual solicitors before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. He acted in the successful defence of lawyers in the longest trial in the history of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, where all allegations were dismissed by the Tribunal and on appeal. He also advises law firms and individuals on regulatory issues and SRA investigations.

Legal 500 refer to him as an “experienced Legal Director” who is a “key lawyer” within both Clyde & Co’s top-ranked “consistently excellent” Professional Negligence team and Clyde & Co’s top-ranked Professional Discipline team.
