Jacky has a wealth of experience as a litigator, acting on instructions from corporates and insurers on defence, recovery, and coverage. He has a special interest in technology and media (privacy, cyber) litigation and defending professionals.
He has provided advice in respect of litigation and regulatory risks in some of Australia’s largest data breaches. He works closely with John Moran to deliver the Clyde One Litigation services and has successfully assisted clients with recovering losses from misdirected funds, third party breaches (including multi-party data breaches), ransomware attacks in Australia and globally.
For his insurer clients, he regularly represents engineers, architects, financial advisers, ancillary health providers on defence across Australia. He has also advised on coverage for large scale commercial developments and infrastructure projects.

- Cross-jurisdiction data breach loss recovery involving third party, impacting entity with presence in US, UK and Australia;
- OAIC commissioner-initiated investigation of ancillary health services provider;
- Defence of ancillary health service provider in class action commenced in Supreme Court of Victoria;

- Construction defence (cladding, and building defects)(high value claims).
