Celia is a construction and insurance litigator. She acts for a range of professionals, including developers, contractors, sub-contractors and their insurers, on construction related disputes. She has worked on high value, complex claims by way of litigation, arbitration and adjudication and is experienced with alternative dispute resolution methods. Celia enjoys working alongside clients, including some of the largest engineers, contractors and insurers in the world, to resolve disputes. 

Celia also advises on complex coverage issues in respect of professional indemnity and public liability policies.

Experience

• Successfully defeated all claims against our steel subcontractor client after a five week trial at the Technology and Construction Court 
• Defending a contractor on roofing issues arising out of a landmark office development in London
• Making a claim against a consulting engineer for defective design services it provided on a large residential development in London 
• Coverage advice to insurers on alleged defective groundworks at a site in Australia
