Shadi Kousa is an associate lawyer in the Dubai office with experience in commercial litigation, Insurance, energy, arbitration, and dispute resolution. He has been involved in handling complex commercial disputes, working with both regional and international clients.

He has spent several years practicing law in the Syrian market, where he worked at respected law firms and represented companies across various industries before the Syrian courts. In addition, Shadi has gained extensive experience working for the largest insurance companies in the region.

In addition to his regional experience, Shadi has had the opportunity to work in Europe and North America, gaining exposure to different legal systems. His work in these jurisdictions, particularly in insurance, energy, and commercial transactions, has given him a well-rounded perspective when advising on cross-border disputes and multi-jurisdictional matters. Prior to joining Clyde, Shadi worked as a senior marine underwriter at CNA Insurance, one of the largest insurance companies in North America.
