Mikołaj Kępas is an advocate, a Counsel in Clyde & Co’s Warsaw office and a member of the Energy practice.
He specialises in advising clients on investment structuring and the development process of wind farms, photovoltaic power plants and other renewable energy projects. He has particular expertise in advising on real estate, environmental, planning and construction aspects of renewable energy projects, where he combines his experience and practical approach to the development of renewable energy projects.
Mikolaj oversees and manages the legal due diligence of wind farms, photovoltaic power plants and other renewable energy projects. He also advises on project financing, acquisitions and disposals of renewable energy projects in the form of share and asset deals.

- Goldenpeaks Capital Services Ltd - conducting due diligence and advising in connection with the acquisition of several portfolios of photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of more than 1 GW
- Advising Lightsource bp on the acquisition of a portfolio of PV projects with a total capacity exceeding 750 MW
- Banco Santander, Santander Bank Polska, EIB, CaixaBank and EKF, Denmark’s Export Credit Agency - advising on PLN 674 million financing of six wind farms developed by EDP Renewables for the development, construction and operation of six wind farms with a total capacity of approximately 150 MW
- EBRD, PKO Bank Polski and Bank Pekao – advising on a PLN 763 million financing provided for the construction of the largest standalone photovoltaic farm in Poland
