Maciej is an Associate in Clyde & Co’s Warsaw office, a member of the Real Estate Practice Group with over 7 years of experience in international law firms.
He specialises in real estate and corporate law. His practice mainly consists in advising international and domestic investors on commercial real estate acquisitions, sales and leases, including preparation of the transaction documentation and due diligence reports. He also actively supports clients in all aspects of the day-to-day management of office, logistics and retail buildings. Maciej also advises on project development ventures in commercial real estate sector.
Experience
- Confidential Client: Advising on the over €230 million acquisition of the Metropolitan office building designed by Foster + Partners, the first AAA-class object in Poland and the only one such object in Central Europe.
- Reino IO Logistics: Advising Reino IO Logistics (Reino IO) managing Polish Logistics LLP, the investment vehicle forming a joint venture between Reino Capital, IO Asset Management and Grosvenor Group, on the acquisition of a portfolio of five A-class logistics parks located in Łódz, Poznań, Sosnowiec, Bielsko-Biała and Rzeszów from AEW Europe.
- Savills IM: Advising on behalf of an Asian investor on the acquisition of a portfolio of 5 logistics parks in Poland from Panattoni. The properties, with a total space of about 280,000 sq. m., were located in the Warsaw, Szczecin, Silesia and Greater Poland regions.
- Savills IM: Advising on the over €100 million acquisition of five buildings included in the Park Beskid II warehouse and industrial complex from 7R and VRE. The transaction was concluded on behalf of Vestas Investment Management.
- Skanska: Advising on the €128 million sale of a portfolio of two joint buildings in the Centrum Południe office complex in Wrocław and the High5ive office building in Kraków. The investment has been acquired by Stena Real Estate BV, part of the Swedish Stena Group.
- Tristan Capital Partners and White Star Real Estate: Advising a joint venture formed by EPISO 4 investment fund, managed by Tristan Capital Partners, and White Star Real Estate, on the sale of a prime logistics platform consisting of five logistics parks (in Grodzisk near Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław, Gdańsk and Czeladź near Katowice) to EQT Exeter.
- Confidential Client: Advising on the sale of an office building with a leasable area of over 40,000 sq. m. located in Warsaw’s Mokotów district.
