Tatiana is an Associate Solicitor in the Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes team in Clyde & Co's Bristol office.

Tatiana joined Clyde & Co’s Bristol office in August 2021 after first qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and then a solicitor. Tatiana has wide commercial litigation experience acting for both claimants and defendants in commercial disputes involving breach of contract, civil fraud claims, boardroom and shareholder disputes, claims against directors, contentious trusts and probate, commercial debt recovery, land disputes and commercial landlord and tenant claims.

Tatiana now acts for legal and financial professionals, commercial property firms, surveyors, valuers and various commercial consultants and insurance brokers.

Experience
  • Defending claims against law firms in respect of 'lost litigation' cases brought by their former clients, including claims relating to the outcomes of interim applications such as strike out and security for costs
  • Successfully defended an insurance broker in a dispute in relation to alleged errors and / or omissions in the advice provided relevant to the calculation of the sums insured for contents and business interruption purposes
  • Defending valuers and surveyors in relation to claims involving over-valuation.
  • Defending a claim against a law firm arising from an alleged failure to provide appropriate tax advice on a property transaction worth in excess of £1m
  • Defending a claim against a law firm in respect of a “lost litigation” case brought by a former client where the value of the underlying claim was worth in excess of £30m.
