Raquel is part of the team advising airlines in the Madrid office in all kind of disputes, administrative proceeding by the local bodies (AESA, etc), contract reviews, etc. In particular, she is an expert in passengers claims brought under the Regulation (CE) 261/2004 an the Montreal Convention, and she regularly defends our clients in oral hearing before the Spanish courts.
For two years Raquel worked for the main Spanish on-line platform for passenger claims which gives her a good inside knowledge of the 261 environment. Her previous experience also includes personal injury cases related to road traffic accidents where she gained experience in the assessment of damages under the new Spanish Baremo.
She joined Clyde & Co in December 2018.
