Nitsan advises clients on domestic and international cyber security incident response and subsequent litigation. She supports clients with personal data breaches and payment diversion fraud as well as data subject requests and complaints and assists clients, across various industries, who face regulatory investigations or FOIA requests. She has experience dealing with a variety of regulators including the ICO, FCA, GLAA and the Charity Commission. Nitsan has also managed multi-jurisdictional incident, engaging local counsel were appropriate, to assist the client navigate its regulatory obligations in different data protection regimes.
Nitsan comes from a diverse litigation background and is assisting clients in defending complex data subject claims. Nitsan specialises in complex multi-party litigation matters, including international litigation, with assistance from local counsel.
In addition to her being a solicitor in England & Wales, Nitsan is a member of the Israeli bar (currently non-practicing) and is CIPP/E certified.
Nitsan has previously worked in house on data protection compliance handling DSARs, erasure requests, internal policies, and dealing with an in house cyber security incident.
Nitsan also has a vast academic experience in inter-national tech law and has worked as a research assistant in a multi-disciplinary study on data leakage on social media – including research on international data protection law and privacy by design.
