Natalie commenced her career with the firm in 2011, having graduated from Edinburgh University with an LLB (Hons). Her current practice is in the Court of Session and All Scotland Personal Injury Sheriff Court representing Insurers in large loss and catastrophic cases, predominantly in connection with Employers Liability claims. Natalie is also instructed in property damage claims, both pursuing and defending, acts on behalf of social care companies via Insurers in cases involving injuries sustained to employees and service users and has a specialist interest in product liability claims. Natalie has represented clients in criminal courts in connection with Health and Safety prosecutions. She undertook the  Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme to become dual-qualified in England and Wales as well as Scotland.

Natalie is on the All Scotland Personal Injury Sheriff Court user group and the Forum of Insurance Lawyers Rules sector focus team.

  • Acting on behalf of a major port in connection with a seven-figure catastrophic injury claim.
  • Providing advice to a client on the interpretation of a hire contract in a case involving substantial damage to a crane.
  • Securing abandonment in a case involving the alleged development of a hernia by an employee involved in manual handling at work over a number of years.
  • Representing an Insurer at a Fatal Accident Inquiry involving an employee who died after falling from a height.
  • Securing abandonment after being introduced as a Third Party in an action involving water damage sustained to a property following works carried out on-site in connecting pipes to the mains water supply.
