Full Profile

Laura Gongaware focuses her practice on maritime law, commercial litigation and vessel construction. She has advised clients on a variety of maritime issues, including charter party disputes, towage, carriage of goods and maritime personal injury.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Laura worked at a boutique maritime firm in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she focused on litigation involving the offshore oil industry and ship construction-related matters.

During law school, Laura clerked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's general counsel, where she worked on a variety of oceanic boundary and maritime heritage related issues. She also interned with a Florida-based marine salvage company.
