Kenneth Goates is a member of our Trial & Defense team. Kenneth practices in the areas of property, casualty, Directors and Officers, and professional claims made policies. He also has experience with excess, reinsurance, and surplus lines policies, in addition to commercial and personal lines policies.
Kenneth has more than four decades of experience defending insureds and insurance companies, including providing coverage opinions for one of the largest publicly held personal lines insurers in the US, the second-largest writer of US commercial property casualty insurance, and the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer, among many notable companies.
Kenneth has had more than 20 jury trials, including “bad faith” and defense of insureds. He has been involved in several bench trials dealing with insurance coverage and has participated in more than 100 arbitrations.
