Sean Frankland

Full Profile

Sean is an associate in Clyde & Co’s Toronto office. He regularly acts as coverage counsel for international and domestic insurers, as well as defence counsel in complex insurance and commercial matters.

He is constantly developing his coverage practice across multiple business lines, including director and officer liability, cyber-risk, professional liability and excess liability. With experience in dispute resolution through litigation and mediation, Sean represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters, such as those related to contractual disputes, product liability and professional negligence. 

He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 after having obtained a dual Juris Doctor from the University
of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2019. 

In his free time, Sean enjoys golfing and is an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
