A skilled associate in commercial, civil and insurance disputes, Kass was called to the Alberta bar in 2017. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria, and her Juris Doctor, from Thompson Rivers University.
Known for her pragmatic, logical and goal-oriented approach, Kass has assisted with a wide range of commercial and insurance litigation matters, including insurance fraud, contract disputes, debt enforcement, construction disputes, professional negligence, bodily injury and subrogation. She practises in Alberta and has represented clients before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench.
Prior to Clyde & Co, Kass worked for a regional firm with a focus on insurance defence, as well as commercial and civil litigation. Today, she is actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), including in her role as Co-chair of the Calgary Insurance South Section of the CBA.
She is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch for her work in Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
Outside the office, Kass enjoys spending time with her husband and dog exploring the Prairies.
