Anna’s daily work involves advice on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to insurance and reinsurance for insurance companies and insureds, whereby she has particular in-depth experience in coordinating and enforcing claims, as well as in drafting policies, terms and wordings. Her practice focuses on liability insurance, marine insurance and erection/construction insurance. As part of her professional career she did a secondment as a line manager at the claims department with a well-known international insurance company.
Early in her career Anna worked for one of the largest logistics providers worldwide in their Shanghai office. Today she uses her insights into the practice to advice transport and logistic operators in relation to all modes of transport. Her practice includes general contract advice and drafting and also claims handling in relation to all modes of transport including storage and logistics services.
Anna is ranked as a ‘Rising Star’ for Transport Law in the 2023 edition of Legal 500 Germany.

- Advising and representing a professional liability insurer on a claim for damages in connection with the erection of a wind turbine
- Advising and representing a professional liability insurer on a claim for damages due to interruption of business in a biogas plant
- Defence of a liability claim against a construction company in relation to a salvage operation
- Drafting and negotiating contracts for logistics provider in relation to offshore windparks
- Advising logistic providers in relation to termination of charter parties of heavy-lift cargo
- Drafting and negotiating contracts for storage of oil
- Advising and representing H&M and P&I underwriters in respect of fire on board of a car carrier in the port of Hamburg
- Advising and representing road haulage liability underwriters regarding cases of loss of or damage to cargo, e.g. by interruption of cool-chain, fire, contamination, accident due to obstruction of sight by smoke.
- Advising cargo underwriters on coverage regarding damage to high-tech machinery equipment whilst stored
- Advising on the legal framework for a transport company to be set up in Germany
- Advising a logistics provider on applicable law in relation to multinational rail transports and corresponding transport documents
