Piotr has been involved in the renewable energy sources sector since 2014. He is a vastly experienced advisor in the field of investment processes, due diligence as well as in acquisitions, divestments and project finance of wind farms, photovoltaic power plants and other renewable energy projects in Poland.

His experience also encompasses providing legal advice concerning contractual matters with a particular focus on corporate PPAs not only in Poland but also in the broader CEE region, development services contracts, and supply and maintenance contracts.

Piotr also advises on a wide range of regulatory matters concerning both Polish and EU law. 
 

Experience

• Advising an offtaker in negotiations of a vPPA (virtual Power Purchase Agreement) concerning renewable energy source in Romania. 
• Advising an offtaker in negotiations of two vPPA (virtual Power Purchase Agreements) concerning renewable energy sources in Romania and Bulgaria. 
• Advising EWG Taczalin on the negotiation and drafting of transaction documentation of a physical PPA (physical Power Purchase Agreement) concerning energy from a 45,1 MW wind farm in Poland. 
• Advising NORD/LB on a EUR 53 million financing for the construction and operation of a 38,8 MW wind farm in the northwestern region of Poland.
• Advising a leading global solar project developer on an acquisition and development services agreement concerning a 58 MW solar project in northern Poland. 
• Advising P Capital Partners and preparation of due diligence for the financing of Wind farm and PV projects with a total capacity of approximately 167 MW developed by Luneos Green Energy.
