Henry Dyer is an Associate in Clyde & Co's London office, specialising in (re)insurance coverage, litigation and international arbitration, particularly arising under excess insurance (Bermuda Form) and Financial Lines policies.
Henry is an Associate in Clyde & Co's London office in the Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes department. Having commenced training with the firm in 2022, and since qualifying as a solicitor in 2024, Henry has specialised in (re)insurance coverage, litigation and international arbitration. Henry acts on behalf of global insurers particularly in the Lloyd's market, US and Bermuda.
Henry has a focus on excess liability policies in relation to the Bermuda Form (usually involving New York substantive law and English arbitration procedure) and Financial Lines. To date, Henry has acted on claims relating to financial institutions, directors' and officers' (SME and large account), management liability, professional indemnity, financial crime, mass torts, catastrophic loss and product liability.
Henry has gained experience in claims adjustment while on secondment in the Financial Lines claims team at a large international insurer.

Representing two defendants in a $800m fraud claim in the High Court relating to renewable energy.
Representing insurers in arbitrations involving general liability insurance coverage claims by an American midstream energy company, valued at over $175m.
Advising on a range of coverage issues including aggregation, notification, attachment and other policy terms and wording disputes.
