Agustín Díaz is an Associated in the Projects & Construction group in our Santiago office since March 2022, focusing his practice on dispute resolution and contractual advice in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors.
Agustín is an associated in the Projects & Construction group in our Santiago office since March 2022, after spending his previous career years working as an associate in the Government Relations team at MetLife Chile.
He focusses his practice on litigation and arbitration, representing our clients in complex disputes in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. Agustín also centres his practice on contract management, negotiation and dispute resolution related to agreements in engineering and construction contracts. He also has relevant experience in disputes with state agencies and regulatory matters.
Agustín was recognized with the Carlos Pecchi Croce award to the best student of Procedural Law of his promotion (Universidad Del Desarrollo, 2013-2017).
Agustín currently serve as Assistant Professor of Procedural Law at Universidad Del Desarrollo.

Representing a local construction company in two arbitration processes for additional overhead costs and lost productivity in the construction of a shopping mall in Santiago de Chile, valued over US$8 million.
Representing the owner of relevant energy project in the arbitration brought by his EPC contractor for the construction of a wind farm, power line and connecting substation in the Antofagasta region, Chile, valued at US$4.5 million.
