Sarah has specialised in lawyers’ professional liability for nearly 30 years. She has advised on a wide range of professional liability claims against lawyers, including claims involving corporate finance, tax, pensions, commercial and residential property and commercial contract.
She also advises clients on regulatory issues, risk management and policy coverage, and frequently writes and speaks on professional liability issues. Sarah has a wealth of experience in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Experience

Advising a law firm on the regulatory issues arising from the conduct of a former partner and communicated with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) on these aspects of the case.
Advising a US based international law firm in relation to a significant dispute with a former partner. The dispute led to High Court litigation by the former partner connected to unpaid profit share, and the firm's counterclaim for money due and damages arising from alleged breach of the members' agreement and fiduciary duties.
Advising law firm clients on Bar Standards Board complaints.
